PHM Country pages
Several
PHM country circles in the region have indicated an interest in creating
country pages on the PHM website www.phmovement.org. This is a useful
communication platform which allows you to post news directly on the global
website and as such can reach a wider public within the movement. PHM Burundi
has created a page and we look forward to learning from their experience. If
you are interested in creating a page, please email Anneleen Anneleen@phmovement.org.

Nigeria
Letter from PHM
Nigeria in the North which highlights some of challenges and successes within
the circle:
From: Salisu Ahmed
Koki
Dear Team,
It’s
been long since we communicated. I must admit that part of why us from the
north are a bit silent is the overwhelming security challenges that once rein
in the air, which suffocated all efforts to organize an event that can serve as
a springboard for our movement's activities in the north. Thank God, now things
are improving. Damaturu, once a hot bed is now been according some respite and
organizations are now going back to it for several reasons including health
related activism and support.
An
opportunity now abounds in Kano state, due to the present governors' interest
in Girl-Child education and right to health, and we are working on seeing to it
that we explore opportunities for participation.
I
must at this juncture congratulate the following PHM Nigeria country circle
members for tying the nuptial knot and wish them God's blessing in their
marriage;
Dr.
Deola Adesanya
Dr.
Oluwayemisi Awoyemi
Dr.
Oladunni Obilade
Dr.
Oluwakemi Bello
CONGRATULATIONS:
- (Omitted for this brief)
3.
I must as well congratulate Adegbenga Adebayo for his immense support to the
group working hand in hand with Dr. Kemi Bello to see to it that the dreams of
this circle is realised and pray that they will continue to have the strength
and creativity to keep the fire burning.
Thank
you.
