GHW4 LAUNCH IN UGANDA

PROBICOU is a registered non-governmental in Uganda working to improve the livelihood of Ugandans by promoting a healthy and safe environment to live in. The organization is a member of Malaria and Childhood Illness (MACIS), a Network of NGOs working to promote eradication of Malaria and Childhood illness in Uganda and is also a member of Uganda Network on Toxic Free Malaria Control (UNETMAC). 
 
PROBICOU hosts Peoples Health Movement (PHM) Uganda country circle a chapter of  People’s Health Movement; a global network bringing together grassroots health activists, civil society organizations and academic institutions from around the world committed to Comprehensive Primary Health Care and addressing the Social, Environmental and Economic Determinants of Health.
 
PROBICOU with its above mentioned partners is organizing celebrations to commemorate the World Malaria Day and the launch of The Global Health Watch Report (GHW4) which is widely perceived as the definitive voice for an alternative discourse on health. The cerebrations will take place on 24th April 2015 at Uganda Museum starting at 9:00 am and closing at 1:00 pm. This year’s national theme for the World Malaria Day is ‘’Indoor Residual spraying’’.
 
The purpose of this letter is, therefore, to invite you to participate in celebrating this day as well as launching the fourth Global Health Watch Report (GHW4).

Community Health Ambassador for Malawi

Maziko Matemba from PHM Malawi appointed as the Community Health Ambassador in Malawi on UHC Day. PHM Malawi attended the commemorations including the launch of the Community and Primary Health Care acceleration plan.
