PHM Africa Learning Space

Dear PHM Africa Colleagues It is 2015 and we need to be able to actively engage in our countries and the region. Briefly PHM within the region would like to ensure that we engage in - Tackling priority and emerging issues in our region and countries. For example we still remain with challenges in terms of fragile health systems, brain drain, preventable diseases such as Cholera and diarrhoea and emerging health issues such as Ebola. We know as in the case of the Ebola epidemic that there has been a slow response. We therefore need to look at different campaigns/action at different levels to tackle this issue. Let's get involved in our circles and prioritise what we can do now! - Launching the Global Health Watch 4 , which brings out an analysis and voices from people all over the world. The opportunity of launching allows PHM to raise awareness on health issues in their country and also link with the Global context. Therefore get involved in launching the GH
