PHM Zambia chair, Guess Nyirenda attended a meeting on media freedoms and was part of the technical working group on media regulation in Zambia. Media is an important platform for civil society to express their views. 

PHM Uganda attends a Special Consultation on Governance for Health in Africa JULY 2019

Michael Ssemakula and Danny Gotto (PHM Uganda) and David Sanders (PHM Global Co-Chair) participated in the Special Consultati on  on Governance for Health in Africa; Lessons learnt since independence to inform the future from 16 to 18 July 2019 in Uganda. PHM Uganda efforts were on Human Resources for Health (HRH). PHMSA partners with PSI for an NHI Training July 2019

People's Health Movement South Africa (PHMSA) partnered with Public Services International to host a National Health Insurance Train the Trainers  in Johannesburg 10-11 July 2019. The training was targeted at unions. For more about PHMSA visit www.phm-sa.org
