What do we as PHM Africa want our leaders to commit to with regard to the general theme of the summit: ‘Maternal, Infant and Child Health and Development in Africa’ ?

    We would like the government to increase acess to primary health care and maternal health services. We should find PMTCT services in all health centres and at the traditional Birth Attendants.

  2. Provided that access to PHC and maternal health care services should be improved, how could we hold government accountable to increase access within a rights based approach?

    Could an increase in access to Maternal Health Services be obtained by government creating an environment where community level initiatives (such as the example in the article following the link below) are supported?
